Our philosophy is to provide an unrivalled service as a niche player in specialist markets. To achieve this we take an extremely pro-active approach that has resulted in a niche market position where our unrivalled candidate and client sourcing skills have resulted in trusted customer relationships.
We apply a search based methodology throughout all our assignments regardless of their contingent or retained nature. In a candidate short market our clients have benefited enormously from this unique approach to sourcing the best talent. Commercially this has enabled us to beat the market expectations in relation to candidate development and the subsequent placement volumes.
In order to remain fully appraised of our clients we endeavour to hold regular reviews with the recruiting teams, ideally with the involvement of line managers in order to ensure we are presenting the most relevant information to potential candidates.
At GraingerWest we use a number of methods to source and qualify our candidates for the clients that we work with. Our experience is that whilst advertising is a good way to source candidates, these applicants may be less committed than those developed directly.
When headhunting, we have a hands off policy for any client for whom we recruit. We are committed to the idea that good business ethics and longevity/success in a market place go together hand in hand.
Referral networks - all GraingerWest consultants understand the value of referrals and are committed to the development of these networks. Referred candidates are often exclusive to our business and we are therefore able to develop a strong relationship and understanding with these individuals which enhances the quality of our placements. These networks have also contributed to the development of our business nationally and internationally.
25% of our placements in the last 12 months have come from recommendations and direct headhunts. This ensures that we have a better supply of talented candidates than many of our competitors and that we are in a better position to manage these candidates for our clients because many of them will be working with GraingerWest exclusively.
