Description:	Credit Risk Appetite and Control - AVP/VP level - tier 1, ACIB, ACCA or equivalent, London, £55,000 to £105,000 My client, a tier one financial services institution serving high net worth and intermediary clients worldwide, is currently going from strength to strength and is expanding the credit risk team as a result. The team is responsible for CR management of the lending and trading portfolio and have shown strong growth and lending activity. As a direct result of this, an exciting, creative opportunity within the Credit Risk Appetite & Control team has opened up. The candidate and role: The team is looking for several individuals a range of seniorities (preferably AVP/VP) to manage the credit risk appetite and control framework by providing support, leadership and direction (depending on experience) in the development and implementation of credit risk policies and procedures. This is a central role within the global credit risk team, and requires an individual with commercial acumen, significant amounts of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with senior personnel in a fast paced business environment. As one of these individuals, you will have worked within financial services (including consultancies, ratings agencies or a regulator), and have an excellent understanding of the end-to-end credit process combined with a detailed knowledge of credit risk and risk appetite. A strong academic background with a minimum of 2:1 level degree and/or qualified to the expected industry standard (eg ACIB, ACCA or equivalent) is preferred.
